Charity Hikes are becoming increasingly popular as a means of raising much needed funds for very deserving Charities.
Unfortunately, despite very good intentions by all involved, many of these events and their organizers are beginning to earn a bad reputation in the way that events are planned, managed and executed.
We all want to do whatever we can to support charity but not at the risk of compromising people’s safety, coming into conflict with the local farmers and landowners or having a negative effect on the delicate mountain environment and eco system.
The best way to avoid this is to seek the help of those with both the skills and experience to deliver a safe and enjoyable walk.
